- Car Raffle Ticket Sales at Jessup Day and after Church on September 27 (and September 28)

Additionally, Tommy Ebaugh (Grand Knight of Council #12524; CCC of Assembly #3245) has arranged to have a Prayer Service for our District at St. Francis of Assisi Church on September 24th @7:00 pm. The tentative plan at this time is they will to host the prayer service, and then have a small reception afterwards (finger foods like cheese and veggies, soda, perhaps beer). He requested that if anyone wishes to, please bring wine.

Do you have an ancestor who died in the Civil War?
Our council is considering the donation of a tree in honor of a fallen Civil war soldier. Eventually there will be more than 600,000 trees lining the highway from Monticello, VA to Gettysburg, PA. This is named as the Journey Through Hallowed Ground. (See link below for more info.) If there is someone in the council who has an ancestor who died in the Civil War, we could dedicate it to that soldier. Please contact Tom Lauth at tomlauth@comcast.net.
